Akshita,

Hello, and thank you for being here.

I’m Akshita Malani—child psychologist, school counsellor, and now, founder of ManoCare. Over the past few years, I’ve worked in diverse settings—from NGOs and psychiatric hospitals to mainstream and special schools. No matter where I went, one truth remained constant: there are far too many children, adolescents, and families quietly struggling with emotional, academic, and behavioural difficulties—and far too few accessible spaces that offer the right support.

The idea for ManoCare began with a dream. A dream of creating a place where individuals feel safe, seen, and supported. A space where therapy isn’t intimidating, but empowering. Where parents don’t feel judged, but guided. Where children are met with patience, playfulness, and purpose. And where even adults—navigating relationships, work stress, or personal challenges—can find clarity and care.

ManoCare was built with this in mind. We combine evidence-based therapies with genuine compassion. We work closely with schools, families, and caregivers to ensure that progress doesn’t stop at the clinic door—it continues at home, in classrooms, and in everyday life.

This centre is not just my professional project—it’s deeply personal. It’s built on every child I’ve counselled, every parent who cried with relief, every teacher who asked for help, and every adult who finally said, “I feel like myself again.”

At ManoCare, we believe that healing happens in connection. And we’re here to walk with you—at your pace, with your needs at the centre—towards a stronger, brighter, more hopeful future.

Warmly,
Akshita Malani

Co-Founder Message

Aditya,

At ManoCare, we believe that every child deserves the right support to grow into their fullest potential — emotionally, socially, and academically.

When I began this journey, it was rooted in a deep realization: that mental health, especially in children and adolescents, is often misunderstood or overlooked. With over 4 years of experience working in India and the UK, I have seen firsthand how early intervention, empathy, and the right guidance can completely transform a child’s future.

ManoCare was founded with one purpose — to create a space where children, parents, and educators feel seen, heard, and supported. Whether it’s through counseling, life skills sessions, remedial therapy, or workshops, our goal is to empower families and schools to respond to challenges with awareness and compassion.

This is not just a center — it’s a movement to normalize conversations around mental health and to bring psychology into everyday parenting and education.

Thank you for being part of this vision.

With warmth and purpose,

Aditya Mudgalkar
